Winter: not the slow season
There’s been a mad rush of crazy rock action around the studio in the last couple of weeks. We finally finished mixing the So It Goes album (nine stop-start months in the making). Otto’s Chemical Lounge came in and did their first studio sessions in almost fifteen years. The Hard Left recorded five cool tunes, likely the foundation of a debut album from them. And I actually got to spend about three hours working on a Polara track, first time in some weeks for that!
Tomorrow Detroit band The Wrenfields start on their album at Flowers with me and Gary Louris producing. We’re pretty excited about this project, which will keep things busy for most of the next four or five weeks.
