This summer is a big season for Ed Ackerson/Flowers studio releases. Currently-released highlights include: [Golden Smog's->http://myspace.com/goldensmog] "Another Fine Day", which I co-produced, played various instruments and mixed six songs; "Don't You Know Who I Think I Was", The Replacements greatest hits comp featuring two brand new songs I produced; [Tim Easton's->http://www.timeaston.com] "Ammunition", on which I co-produced several tracks with Gary Louris; "Crushing Love" by [Juliana Hatfields' Some Girls->myspace.com/somegirlsband], which I produced one song on; and "Solid Earth and Gold" by LA singer-songwriter [Annette Summersett->http://myspace.com/annettesummersett]. Later this summer and into the fall even more records I've worked on will be released, including albums from So It Goes, The Blinds, Kraig Jarret Johnson, The B-Team (George Scott McKelvey and Billy Johnson's new project), a new Golden Smog EP, and lots of individual tracks and mixes for various artists. Maybe I'll find time to work on the Polara record that's been sittting 95% complete for the last few months!
